Bivi Bags and Hooped Bivi Bags. A Comparison of what I Use for Backpacking and Wild Camping.

In this video, part two in a mini-series on sleep systems, I will be going through the bivvy/bivy/bivi bags I use for camping, bushcraft, canoe tripping, and backpacking. Bivy bags make a great, low profile, low impact, minimalist shelter for trips where weight matters or if you wish to go undetected. They come in many different styles with greatly varying features to suit every budget. The few I will show you in the video are just a few that I use. Using a bevy bag is not to everybody’s taste as they are very small, offer almost no storage space and often require a bit on wriggling to get inside them, but, by taking a few steps to set yourself up, comfort can be greatly improved!

Episode three will cover pillows, sleeping pads/mats and other items linked to sleeping.

I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
